Poster for an exhibition of Oskar Kokoschka's work held in Zurich in 1923.
This bold colourful poster, possessing a raw visual energy, announces Kokoschka’s exhibition at the Wolfsberg Art Gallery, Zurich, during September and October 1923.
His face is part bisected by a line, to appear as if captured from two separate perspectives; one, turned to his hand holding the brush; the other with his face turned towards the viewer as if to command his audience to attend the new show.
